What we collect
Once you sign in, we store a session cookie (better-auth.session_token) to keep you signed in, along with your email, the tickers you follow, and your delivery preferences. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only the account identifier and email they provide (including an Apple private relay address). If you turn on notifications in the iPhone app, we store that device's push token and use it only to send alerts to that device. This cookie is never shared with third parties. When your free trial starts, to prevent the same person from claiming it more than once, we keep an identity marker made by one-way hashing your email (or Apple sign-in ID); it can't be turned back into the original, and it is kept even after you delete your account.
Payment
Payments on the web are processed by Stripe; purchases in the iPhone app are processed by Apple. We do not store your card number or any payment credentials. Stripe returns a customer identifier after a transaction; for App Store purchases, the app attaches your account number to the transaction and Apple returns the transaction record. We store these identifiers and records only to manage your subscription status.
YouTube data
All content on this site comes from public YouTube videos. We don't access or store any non-public YouTube data. Metadata such as video titles, channel names, and publish times is used only to attribute and verify the source of content.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account anytime from the account page in the iPhone app or on the website. When you do, we erase your account, email, followed tickers, delivery preferences, subscription mapping, and push tokens. Only two things remain: the trial identity marker described above (so the trial can't be claimed twice), and the send log of daily digests, reduced to numbers that can't be linked back to you with its content snapshot cleared. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your iPhone's Settings.
Analytics and tracking
We don't use tracking pixels or behavioral advertising. The site only measures aggregated page performance and traffic, to tell which pages are slow or unused. We don't sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.
